CBBC collects 1,900 pounds for United Way “Can” Paign!
CBBC (Citizens Bank of Blount County) locations helped collect 1,900 pounds of food pantry items for the annual United Way of Blount County's "Can" paign before the Campaign. CBBC had to rent a U-haul to deliver the items to the Blount County Food Pantry. The 1,900 pounds earned CBBC 1st place in the Green Bean Division for companies with 50-99 employees. CBBC President Gaynell Lawson expressed her thanks to associates for sharing with the less fortunate, and for improving the quality of life in the community in which we live and work.
Loading the U-Haul are CBBC associates Kathy Johnson, Chase Boruff, Beth Pyle, Blake Tipton and Chad Hicks; CBBC's Campaign Coordinator.
Helping stock the items are CBBC's Laura Lenear & Beth Pyle along with Blount County Food Pantry volunteers Laura Taylor, Gwen Webb and Laura Manuel.
