CBBC and 2015 Blount Co. Habitat for Humanity Community Business Build

During the month of May, several employees of CBBC volunteered their time to take part in the 2015 Blount County Habitat for Humanity Community Business Build in Alcoa. CBBC is proud to take be a part of this event and to help out in our community.


CBBC and Union Grove Middle Pennies for Patients Campaign

CBBC helped count coin for Union Grove Middle School's Pennies for Patients campaign to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  UGMS held a homeroom classroom competition collecting from its students & teachers with a pizza party going to the winning classroom. Teacher Mary Jo Willocks' homeroom won and received Snappy Tomato Pizza courtesy of CBBC. Overall a total of $1,388.86 was raised for this worthy cause.

CBBC Scholarship Program

On Thursday, April 9th, Kathy Johnson and Jonathan Settlemire presented the first CBBC scholarships awarded to graduating area high school students. Student applications were reviewed and scholarships awarded in the areas of Fine Arts, Community Involvement, and Career/Technical. Congratulations to all of our recipients: Destiny Whittaker, Haley Cunningham, Sarah Christopher, Victoria O'Donnell, Vijayen Satish, and Ashley Williams.
